However, from now on, Bethesda Net accounts need to be linked with Steam accounts. In order to upload a mod to Bethesda Net, you need to install the Creation Kit on a PC, load up a mod, log in to Bethesda Net and upload the mod for download on the Xbox One and PS4. Unfortunately though, people have been abusing the system and re-uploading other people’s creations from Nexus Mods to Bethesda Net without permission and it has caused quite a stir, to the point where Bethesda has now needed to increase security a bit. Bethesda set out to bring mods to consoles with Fallout 4 and earlier this year, the console mod system launched.
